Our neighbors may notice some construction activity around the Bernheim Distillery over the next couple weeks. This activity is part of our annual “shutdown” period, where we suspend regular production at the distillery to allow us to conduct maintenance and install upgrades that cannot be handled while the distillery is operating.
This year’s shutdown began June 22 and will run through July 7. The Bernheim Distillery will have active construction on the front exterior from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
With this active construction, our closest neighbors can expect some construction noise. During this shutdown window, there may be an increase in traffic as contractors enter and exit the site, but we there will be no semi-trailer truck traffic.
