On Saturday, November 22, 2025, California residents and our surrounding community came together once again for the third annual Community JamFest at William H. Perry Elementary, hosted by Heaven Hill Brands.
What continues to make JamFest special isn’t just the great music, the fun activities, or even the delicious food. It’s truly the people. The families. The community partners. The shared energy that fills the room when a community gathers with purpose and pride.
JamFest exists because the California neighborhood has a unique blend of compassionate neighbors, a thriving spirit, and a vibrant heritage.

A Day Centered on Connection
Perry Elementary was alive with laughter and conversation as youth enjoyed games and activity stations, local organizations shared resources, and neighbors reconnected over great food—including BBQ from Big Moe’s, sponsored by Heaven Hill.
More than a festival, the day was about access and awareness. Families had opportunities to connect with nonprofits and service providers working year-round in West Louisville. Residents weren’t just attending an event; they were engaging with resources and strengthening relationships.
JamFest is built in collaboration with school leaders and community partners, and it continues to grow through shared input and participation. Each year, we learn, listen, and look for ways to make it even more meaningful.

Supporting Holiday Traditions
A highlight of the day was the Thanksgiving turkey giveaway. Families received meal boxes complete with turkeys and traditional holiday sides, helping ensure neighbors who needed additional support had what they needed during the Thanksgiving season.
Through our Spirited Neighbor commitment, Heaven Hill focuses on addressing barriers to education, expanding mental health education and resources, and supporting economic development in the neighborhoods surrounding Bernheim Distillery. Events like JamFest are one expression of that ongoing investment, and part of a broader, year-round effort to show up in thoughtful, practical ways.
Growing a Tradition Together
What started three years ago as a gathering in the parking lot of Bernheim Distillery has grown into a meaningful tradition. JamFest reflects what’s possible when residents, schools, nonprofits, and businesses come together with shared goals: joy, access, opportunity, and a thriving community.
We’re grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, partnered, and shared feedback. Your presence and participation help shape what this event becomes.
The California neighborhood has a strong identity and deep pride, and we’re honored to stand alongside you as neighbors and partners.
We look forward to continuing to grow this tradition together.
