Beginning the week of January 26, we will be making a change at our distillery that reduces certain truck movements and related noise in the neighborhood.
What’s Changing
We will no longer move certain production trailers between the distillery and the Maple Street lot. This change will eliminate the weighing activity and noise previously associated with those trailers.
What to Expect
Material will instead be transported using tank trucks that are loaded directly on our property.
• Trucks will enter at 17th Street and Breckinridge Street.
• Trucks will exit through a new north-side exit gate, designed to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion.
• We expect an average of one to two trucks per hour, spread throughout the day.
• We have asked that truck activity occur during daylight hours and will continue working with partners to avoid late-night operations when possible.
Neighborhood Considerations
Our transportation partners are aware of our neighbors and Dr. William H. Perry Elementary School and are expected to operate safely and responsibly. We will continue to monitor activity and address concerns as they arise.
